The poster is a collage combining elements of classical art with modern techniques. The main idea of this work is an attempt to depict the ideal of beauty, while showing how impersonal it is, which is elevated as something iconic. Around the central image are bright, torn strips of paper, creating a dynamic and colourful background. The inscription ‘NOT ICONIC’ at the bottom of the poster challenges traditional ideas about icons and their significance.
The peculiarity of this collage is the way of creation by the method of expressive creation: without the initial sketch relying only on my emotions, details were torn and cut out to form this work.
